SheTheKranti began as a grassroots feminist campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating online spaces for conversations on gender norms, menstrual health, queerness, and sexuality. What started as virtual workshops with 100+ participants has grown into a thriving movement addressing patriarchy and championing gender equality in diverse communities across Nepal.
Over the years, we have collaborated with organizations like Yuwa Nepal, UNFPA, PeaceFirst, and Feminist Futures Nepal to lead impactful projects. From dialogues on sexual and reproductive health rights to reusable pad-making sessions and skill-building workshops, our initiatives are rooted in fostering intersectional justice and care.
Our key projects include:
Our work is focused on areas including, but not limited to:
Promoting the right to comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare for all, ensuring equal access and support.
Supporting queer rights and advocating for inclusivity, acceptance, and equal opportunities for all gender identities.
Advocating for menstrual health and providing sustainable solutions like reusable pads for dignity and comfort.
Delivering inclusive, age-appropriate education on sexuality, relationships, and rights for empowered decision-making.
Empowering individuals to embrace their sexual well-being by breaking taboos around pleasure and desire.
Fostering understanding and access to abortion and contraception services, free from stigma and misinformation.
