Legal Provisions against sexual abuse in Nepal

STK hosted a focus group discussion on "Legal Provisions against sexual abuse in Nepal". Our guest speaker Prapoosa KC shed light on the specifics of Nepal's rape and sexual assault laws. We also had a very meaningful and reflective conversation about the various ways Nepal's legal system fails to adequately protect survivors, especially those already marginalized, and how we, as lawyers/activists/organizations/citizens, can advocate for and create a society where survivors are seen, heard and supported.
